Are David’s Bridal stores closing?

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., March 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — David’s Bridal, the nation’s leading bridal and special occasion authority, announced today the decision to temporarily close all of their stores for appointments and walk-ins through April 1, 2020. Store employees will be paid during this time.

But if you think you may want to try something on, or just not have the attendants annoyed at you for being in the way, just make an appointment.

Don’t have all the details but I just brought mine to dB and it was about $150 for hemming a few layers, about $35 for shortening lace straps and another $20 to add in the cups. $205 total. cat89: yes you can buy off the rack at Davids bridal. They carry the dresses in one or two sizes in store pretty much pin or hold up the dress so brides can see how it fits. If you are really far off from their sample sizes, they may not have any on the rack that you can buy.
