One Month Before: Order the Groom Suit Each order is delivered two weeks before your wedding—plenty of time for the groom and groomsmen to try on their suits and ensure everything is right and ready to go before your big day.

Can you buy off the rack at David’s Bridal?
cat89: yes you can buy off the rack at Davids bridal. They carry the dresses in one or two sizes in store pretty much pin or hold up the dress so brides can see how it fits. If you are really far off from their sample sizes, they may not have any on the rack that you can buy.
How many sizes can a dress be taken in?
How big is too big to alter? Tailors can do different things depending on their experience, but the rule of thumb is to stick to no more than 3 dress sizes larger. All dresses are designed differently, but the size difference will be more noticeable in certain styles, like a strapless dress with princess seams.

Can you walk into David bridal without an appointment?
If you’re willing to accept that you might not be able to try on, just walk in whenever. If you don’t want any help or to try anything on, you can just go in. But if you think you may want to try something on, or just not have the attendants annoyed at you for being in the way, just make an appointment.
How much do alterations at David’s Bridal cost?
Don’t have all the details but I just brought mine to dB and it was about $150 for hemming a few layers, about $35 for shortening lace straps and another $20 to add in the cups. $205 total. I posted recently another seamstress wanted to charge me $600 not even including cups! My alterations cost $350.
What do you wear under your wedding dress?
If your dress has a low back When it comes to a backless gown, your best bet is a bra that has adhesive cups. Nude silicone cups will give you the most natural feel and will be practically invisible. Another option is to have cups sewn into the dress itself.
Can I return an unworn dress to David’s Bridal?
All returns and exchanges must be in their original condition—unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, and free of lint and hair. Merchandise must be in its original packaging with all tags attached. Once any tag has been removed, an item cannot be returned.
How many dress sizes can you alter down?
Taking a gown one to two sizes down is pretty common, and should still keep the integrity of the original design fairly easily. Of course, the closer to your actual size the better; you’ll save money in alterations, and the gown will look best when it is closest to how it was designed.
