I spent Friday morning at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens with Lauren and Jared. I was so happy that the weather was great because Jared is a Navy Seal and was only going to be in town for a few days. Lauren and Jared are an incredibly beautiful couple as you can tell from these pictures! Jared was not really into getting his picture taken, or changing into 3 different outfits for that matter, but he did what he had to for his lovely fiance and we got some really awesome shots 🙂 Seriously, these two should be professional models.
Ryan and I spontaneously decided to drive to Callaway Gardens in Georgia to get away for the day. The gardens are beautiful, and it has so much more than the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. We were only there for about 5 hours, so we didn’t get to see everything, but we may go back again in the future and stay a few days. It’s definitely going to be a great place to shoot a wedding next year!
I always dreamed of marrying a man like Ryan. A man with intelligence, a fun sense of humor, and above all, a caring heart. A man I could call both my husband and my best friend. A man who would walk hand in hand with me through everything that life brought. I am so thankful that I found and married the man of my dreams. He truly is a wonderful, one of a kind man. Our wedding was the best day of my life, and I will love him forever.
My Aunt Vicky put me in contact with Kristen & Jonathan, who had a wedding photographer already, but wanted to do some engagement portraits. This was perfect for me because I need practice 🙂 When I first talked to Kristen she claimed that they were “photogenically challenged” haha. As you can see from the pictures below, they are an adorable couple and the camera loves them 🙂 I love the fact that they incorporated their dog Norah Belle into some of the shots, it was so much fun! These shots were taken in the beautiful Downtown Helena/Buck Creek area.
